He is the author of the "Estates Nutshell", which is the firm's blog dealing with all matters relating to estate planning and administration in Ontario. Mark subsequently obtained his law degree from the University of Western Ontario. While there he qualified for the law school's Moot Court team on International Law and competed against both Canadian and U.S. teams. He has since returned to assist the university with its selection of external advocacy competition teams. Mark has also pursued graduate studies at The University of St. Jerome's College.
Mark is a devoted husband and the father of seven children. He is active in the community having served on the boards of the Waterloo Region Home Builder's Association, Waterloo Region's branch of Crime Stoppers, and Bereaved Families of Ontario, and as a volunteer community representative of the Community Assessment Team for New Directions.
